Chef Bio

One of the top New York personal chefs since 2003, Chef Janaina is a feisty Brazilian “food whisperer”, lovingly coaxing her ingredients to create culinary masterpieces for Big City Chefs’ private clientele from Manhattan to the Hamptons and beyond. A graduate from the Art Institute of New York City, Personal Chef Janaina draws upon her considerable professional experience at renowned restaurants Perry St. and Jean-Georges to create decadent dinner parties, elegant h’ors d’oeuvres parties, and exciting private cooking classes in the New York area. “Don’t be afraid,” she says, “the food is not going to bite.”
