Chef Bio
Born in Brooklyn and raised in suburban New Jersey, Chef Mark often watched his mother and grandmother prepare traditional Italian dishes which fueled his love of good food and inspired him to learn to cook. After attending Culinary School at the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale, he cooked at two notable restaurants in the popular Los Olas section of Ft Lauderdale, Timpano and Royal Pig Pub. He then traveled to Spain, where he learned the local cuisine and ran a restaurant in the Pyrenees resort town of Boi Taull. Incorporating his global experiences, Chef Mark has developed unique menus focused on flavor and nutrition. Currently residing in Fort Lauderdale, Chef Mark is available to cook for individuals, small in-home dinner parties, and larger groups. He also offers cooking classes, vacation home cooking, and weekly meals to meet custom nutritional needs.
