A private dinner party and teaching chef for Big City Chefs since 2003, Philadelphia Chef Sunny began her culinary career as a graduate of the Art Institute of Washington and a chef at Georgetown's top-rated 1789 Restaurant. Since settling in Philadelphia several years ago, she has been deeply rooted in a farm-to-table cooking style, incorporating all-natural, seasonal, local produce, meats and cheeses into her menus whenever possible. To supplement her own vegetables garden's bounty, she enjoys shopping at local artisan markets such as Reading Terminal Market, 9th Street Italian Market, and Maple Acres Farm.
